09 Chef's Salty Chocolate Balls
First aired: 8/19/1998 Production Code: 209 When a film festival takes over South Park, It's up to Kyle to stop it before the dramatic effect the festival is having on the sewer system kills Mr. Hankey. Kyle's pleading is interpreted by the film festival committee as an idea for a hit movie. However, thanks to one of Chef's "Salty Chocolate Balls", Mr. Hankey is given the strength to fight back against the festival.

Add as favorites (58) 1 Plot Written by BOT , on 09-23-2007 21:56 Park City, Utah - home of the Sundance Film Festival. The once quiet town is now a bustling tourist attraction. Robert Redford decides that the festival needs to be moved. They choose South Park. Upon hearing this Mr. Garrison gets all the class to go see an independant film and to write a paper on it. The festival is in full swing, but to Kyle's dismay, Mr. Hankey is being badly affected by the overload of sewage entering his home; the sewer. The boys visit Mr. Hankey in the sewer and he explains to them about the delicate eco-system of the sewer that is being corrupted, much like the town is. Above, the town is beginning to tire of the festival, but they soon discover that this was Robert Redford's intention. Chef realises selling his recipes have also helped ruin the town. Kyle shows Mr. Hankey to the people incharge of the festival, but believe that it is a movie idea. Cartman begins selling Mr. Hankey t-shirts and makes a small profit. Mr. Hankey begins to die, and is took to hospital. Kyle asks if he will go to Heaven but Chef hopes not, but tells Kyle he will. He gives him a Chocolate Salty Ball from his stall, and Mr. Hankey is revived. They then approach Robert Redgrave who throws Mr. Hankey at a wall. Chef gives him another Chocolate Salty Ball and he comes back to life. Mr. Hankey then puts on a wizard hat and creates a tornado of sewage that begins to kill all the people from the film festival. Robert Regrave drowns in the sewage and the town is saved. Only problem is that it's covered in sewage. Wendy who had been trying to get Stan to see films with her apologises to him.

This stays in the same way until the season ten episode Smug Alert!. * This is the only time Mr. Hankey is seen when it is not Christmas. * When Kenny is trampled the lines are changed and are spoken by two people: o Oh my God I found a penny! o You bastard!
